I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education (EPHE) within the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria (UVic) in British Columbia,Canada.

My current research interests are in socio-ecological approaches to obesity prevention (focusing mostly on children and youth), building and measuring organizational and community capacity, mobilizing communities for action on health and knowledge exchange (facilitating the adoption and utilization of evidence-based approaches).
