The Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Health Education program is an interdisciplinary program that prepares you to enter the fields of recreation, wellness and health promotion, leadership and administration. This degree is an excellent foundation to work in the public and not for profit sectors as it prepares graduates with a foundation that supports social change. Course work focuses on planning, implementing, evaluating and supervising recreation, leisure, fitness, wellness and health promotion programs, services and policies. Your learning is enhanced through involvement in cooperative education experiences.

The Recreation & Health Education program is available only on a Cooperative Education model. This is a minimum four and a half year program which combines academic study on campus with alternating periods of work in a variety of agencies.
