ARM BAR SERIES
After step two:
- Under control, elevate their wrist and place
their arm on their back.
- Do not bend the elbow joint past ninety degrees!
This is illegal and considered a dangerous position.
- Under control, sit on your opponent with
their arm trapped on the side of your body. From picture one, their right
arm would be trapped between your left side and left arm.
- Block their opposite arm, similar to the
half nelson technique, and circle to the left with your hips facing the mat.
- Finish chest to chest, and try to control
or elevate their head.
Note:
three major safety concerns with this series:
- Do not let the arm go past ninety degrees
- Block the outside arm
- Circle around the body, NOT over the head
