Prone Position Defence

One: Defensive wrestler wants to be in the prone position. |

Two: The defence should concentrate their power on the area being attacked. |

Three: This applies for attacks to the upper and lower body. An effective defensive reaction to an attack on the lower body is to focus their power in the area being attacked by sitting up into the referees position. |

Four: From the prone position the wrestler wants to be able to move and shift weight to defend against the various hooks and handles. |
