1. If Mount Redoubt ejected lava 30 m high into the air and nearly hit a jet flying over it, how high was the jet flying above ground if the volcano has a height of 3100 m?

4. What fraction of Mount St. Helens blew up if its total height of 5000 metres was reduced by 25% after the eruption on May 18, 1980?
